"Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore,"
-André Gide
Whether you’re new to my site or an old friend, welcome!
I’ve always been an admirer of other blogs and have loved reading people’s stories on traveling, health, adventures, and more. After a long time, I have decided to take the plunge and start my own! It was a little daunting at first, but I am always up for learning as I go.
A little bit about me – I am a fourth year at UC Santa Barbara and have been lucky to call the beautiful coastal town my home for the past three years. Prior to that I resided in Napa, CA with my mom (my favorite person in the world), my sister (three years younger and four feet taller), and my brother (most adventurous and uncoordinated person I know). I am an Anthropology major with an emphasis in the Biological study of the field, and absolutely love school. I also love adventure, and stepping out of my comfort zone whenever possible. For those reasons, as well as a childhood promise I made myself long ago, I left California for a year abroad in Granada, Spain! My goal was to document all of my adventures. I got to meet some amazing people and visit 10 new countries. Now i'm back at school for my last year and am just as keen on making new friends and crossing items off my bucket list. Feel free to peruse the posts, leave comments, or shoot me an email.
Thanks for checking out my site, hope you enjoy!
